The Rental Space
From the outset, it was decided to separate the different areas to better manage each space and to distinguish between the different customer groups for better service. The equipment storage equipment was renewed, allowing us to provide skimans with 50% more pairs of boots and up to 30% more skis, while saving space thanks to the design and ingenuity of our racks.
A SIDAS scanner is used to determine the morphology of the customer's foot in order to give them the right pair of shoes, without having to try them on, which saves a considerable amount of time and space in the shop. The existing shoe racks have been repositioned to facilitate their movement and the retrieval of shoes. This has also made it possible to add a drying rack for shoes to increase the capacity of shoes available in the shop.
Once partitioned off by a glass roof, the ski racks were relocated to facilitate the work of the skimans and reduce the time taken to adjust skis. To complete the optimisation of this space, a double-position podium has been installed, allowing the skimans to work comfortably without taking up space.
The Sales Area
In order to harmonise the sales area and organise it better, all the displays were replaced to achieve the objective set: to boost sales of textiles and equipment in the shop.
Our solution of wall-mounted panels and racks made it possible to use the entire surface area to optimise the number of items on display, while maintaining an impeccable presentation.
The sales area could also be broken down by product type to create specific zones and thus better present each range to customers. As a result, customers are no longer presented with just the product they are looking for, but with the whole range, which encourages ancillary sales.
The ski boot aisle has been expanded to include services to enhance customer comfort, such as an oven for thermoforming soles and a coffee cabinet. All this was made possible by the space saved by the installation of our equipment and our ability to work in confined spaces.
