The Project
Problematic
The Skiset in Champagny was a shop full of mountain charm, but its equipment was gradually becoming obsolete.
During discussions with the owner of the premises, the objectives of the renovation project were to modernise the equipment while optimising storage and streamlining the customer flow in the shop.
Although we were given carte blanche to propose different layouts, our only constraint was to keep the magnificent central wooden checkout unit, designed and assembled by the shop's founder.
Our thoughts
A number of ideas were then put forward to meet our customer's needs while keeping the wooden furniture in the shop.
3 proposals were made to our customer and we discussed with her to refine the layout of the elements. On the retained plan, the position of the podiums and the cash desk were reviewed and the scanner repositioned next to the cash desk to facilitate the customer's path.
